SketchUp tutorial Small House 6

today i worked on the over head cabinets for the kitchen. i learned how to make the cabinets look like they have actually doors on them as shown in the picture. i also learned how to make the cabinets from scratch. i have been doing everything from scratch except the front door and windows + the bathroom door. everything else i have done from scratch.

today i was working on the cabinets and counters in my small house. i have learned a lot of things why doing this tutorial. there wasnt much i learned from this video and i didnt do much but the kitchen.

SketchUp tutorial Small House 4

today i continued to work in the small house. i worked on doing the moldings in the rooms and i also put a crown molding around the main room as shown in the picture. i did one room with a different molding as shown in the second picture. i learned how to use the follow me tool more, now i know how to make it go around the whole house instead of doing it manually. the house is starting to look more like a house, i am also enjoying this tutorial.

today i continued to work on the small house. i went through the whole house and add paint to the rooms and added hard wood flooring through the whole house. i also add a texture to the out side of the house and add brick to the foundation.

today i continued to work on the house, it is looking good so far. im learning more about using the guide line in SketchUp. i went into the 3D Warehouse to get windows and a door for the small house. the windows and doors are not the same as the tutorial because i could not find the same models he used for his house. next ill be doing texturing in the house.

Today i am doing a small house and again im using a tutorial video to make the small house. i have so done the walls and floor as shown in the picture. the tutorial gets into depth when making this house, it gets so in depth that it makes counters for the kitchen and more. Next ill be doors the doors and windows.

Sketchup day 5 shed

today i finished my shed i have been working on. i got the front and back done and the roof. i also have downloaded a door and a window for the shed as shown in the one picture. i have learned how to make walls with the posts and making the sheet of wood for the wall. i also learned how to cut the beams in the roof to make them look like real ones that have been cut.

Sketchup day 4 Shed

today i was working on the back of the shed making the posts to hold up the wall and i had to remake a beam across the top for something the tutorial didnt really say why but i like making these models after this shed i think i might do a bigger project if i have time but im hoping to finish this shed this week.

Sketchup day 3 Shed

today i goth the other side of the roof done its easy to make the other side because you can mkae the side you have done into a group then copy it and move it to the other side of the roof and flip it along the green axis and move it to place. i also built something else i cant remember what it is but it the gutter looking shape in the picture. i am really enjoying making this shed its fun and im learnung how to use groups and components.

today i finished my rafters om my shed as shown in the picture but i wasn't able to get anything else done because i was working social studies work trying to catch up.

SketchUp Shed Tutorial 2 Day 1

Today I am following a tutorial for making another shed but this one is more in depth. Such as actually making the floor framing as shown in pictures 1-2. I actually found it easy to make the floor frame for the shed. And I have also made one of the walls for the shed as shown in picture 3. This again was easy for me because I am watching the tutorial and most of the stuff he is doing with the tools I already know how to use from a different tutorial. Mixed Day

today i was working on a log cabin as shown in the picture but now thanks to zach im going to work with unreal engine. i will be doing tutorials for it before i try to make my own game.

SketchUp Cabin Day 2

Today I was finishing up on my cabin that I have been working on for the past couple of days. I found it fun to make since I knew how to use sketchup. I put some models that have already been built with my cabin to look like it is in the woods but it lagged to much every time I tried to add trees so there isn’t any tree.

Today i started making a cabin. i have been using the tools and tricks that i learned from the tutorial i was watching when making my shed. i have done a lot on the cabin today. i got the deck done. i didnt find it the difficult when making the deck since i have watched a tutorial on how to use sketchup. As shown in my pictures thats as much as i have done/finished on the cabin.

Sketch Up tutorial Day 2

Today I am working on the posts, cross beams and shader beams. I learned today how to make groups and components. I also learned how to copy objects and how to take the original copy and copy that move it to a position you want it and put in a number with a / behind it. By doing this it will make multiple copies along the line where you put the copied object but make sure ton place the copied object down then put the number and / as shown in the pictures 3-5. In the first pictures I took shows you the posts and cross beams by themselves then the second picture shows you the posts and cross beams with the shader beams added. Now I am going to add material to the shader beams. I finished putting materials on my shed and beams as shown in the sixth picture.

Sketch up tutorial Day 1

Today I went to go a tutorial for sketch up I am learning how to make a shed. I will be making some kind of house/shed model when im done but so far this all I have for the model.

Sketch up Day 2

today i built the exhaust pipes for the tiger. i learned that isnt easy to make the exhaust pipes on it. it took me awhile to make them then place them to the back of the tank. they kind of look like batteries so i might need to fix them up and make them look better.

today i was building a tiger tank from world war 1. i have started the front of the tank and made the turret for the tank as shown in the picture so far i am finding it easy to make and i have imported at picture of the tank to help me build it. i found it easy to make the turret it wasnt the difficult to do. it was only making cylinders. the turret i had to make a circle then cut off the front and put a rectangle

Today I was working on the player health and ran into an error on the premade script they gave you. I found the error which is highlighted in the picture. That whole line I highlighted was not there when I opened it.

Today i was working on my game i got the character script done. then jorge needed help with his game cause it was not working so i offered to give him my file thru dropbox. i shared the file with him then he took the whole file out and deleted my game because he didnt copy the files he took them all so it took my game. i got the files back from jorge and then the game would not work anymore. the background wont work so i will have to restart the whole game again. atleast i have the script for the character so i dont need to redo that part. I redid my game and got back to where I was. I found a problem with my character, he was not hopping around like he should be in the video im watching. So I went and deleted the PlayerAC and put in the PlayerAnimatorController which then fixed the character and made him start hopping when he you moved him. now im working on the enemys that you have to take on. so i learned a lot to day, not to share my file on dropbox anymore.

independent project on unity day 6

Today I ran into multiple errors in my script for player. I had to get help from my teacher Mr. B and we found the errors in the script. It is very important to have everything spelt right and capitalized. I got to where I have to make the ball pick up the cubes but it only went thru them. I had to get Mr. B to help me again and he found the problem. I forgot to capitalize a letter shown in the picture that has a highlighted word. this error made it so that it would not let the ball pick up the cubes.
